Nirmala Mani Adhikary, Asst. Professor of Media Studies at the Dept. of Languages and Mass Communication, has accomplished  from Nepal Sanskrit University. The title of his Ph.D. Theis is: "The Bhatta-Mimamsa Philosophical Study of Communication." Through his research, Dr. Adhikary has explored the relevance of the Bhatta School of Mimamsa philosophy to the modern discipline of communication, theorized communication from the perspective of the Bhatta School, and constructed a unique model: "The Bhatta-Mimamsa Model of Communication." It is to note that this is the first-ever  from within Nepal (from any of the Nepali universities).
