The Department of Computer Science and Engineering brings national and international Computer Science researchers from all disciplines within Computer Science and Engineering to share their knowledge and research with the Computer Science research community at Kathmandu University.

If you are visiting Nepal and belong to academic or broader research and engineering community and have interesting and exciting research topic of substantial social impact, we would love to host you at Kathmandu University. We will cover your local travel and accommodation expenses as a token of appreciation.

This invitation also extends to Nepal-based researchers who are working in academia, industry or research-based institutions doing research on cutting-edge technologies with a significant impact value to Nepal. The aim of the event is to foster stronger networking and collaboration as well as sharing and dissemination of knowledge and expertise with the Computer Science researchers all over the world and the Computer Science students and researchers community at Kathmandu University. Please send your CV, title, and a short abstract of your proposed talk to csss@ku.edu.np and we will contact you regarding the possible arrangement of the talk.

About Kathmandu University Computer Science and Engineering Department: We are a small but vibrant learning and research community consisting of several faculty with PhD in CS & Eng. who teach and mentor B.E., BSc., M.S. and PhD students. Our current research focus is on applied areas of computer science and engineering that has potential for large societal impacts.
